1st Friday

Grade Level Team meetings

2nd Friday

Faculty Collaboration (become aware of what other Grade Level Teams are doing, discuss and make decisions regarding school-wide issues, planning professional development for the 4th Friday of the month, and other issues faculty members want placed on the agenda - Let Danette know).

Building Committee Meeting (1:45 p.m.)

3rd Friday

Department meetings followed by department chair meetings at 1:45 p.m. with counselors and administration.

4th Friday

Professional Development (to be determined based on teacher input and needs). Sometimes scheduling the entire faculty for one PD session doesn’t fit your professional growth desires.  We can always schedule a school-wide PD session, but feel free to break away from this if something else would be more beneficial to you and/or your department.

5th Friday

Team Building Activities – Let’s get to know each and our students.  We’re open to suggestions.  If we can make it to a 5th Friday, perhaps we should reward ourselves somewhat, while keeping our planning time in-line with GSD Board Objectives.  We think our Snowbird team building activities is a good example.
