Class Changes

    Just because things are not going well in a particular class does not mean it is time to bail out.  However, the school recognizes that unusual circumstances may, at times, require a schedule change.  Any changes must be requested by a parent and approved by a counselor.  There will be a $5.00 fee for any unessential changes.

    Optional schedule change requests on the part of the students, parents/guardians or teachers will be considered on a space available basis during the first week of each new quarter, by following these steps.

    1. Parent/guardian and teacher consultation by phone or in person.
    2. Student to obtain Schedule Change Form in counseling office before or after school or between classes.
    3. Student shall get Schedule Change Form signed by each teacher from whose class the student will be exiting and entering.
    4. After all teacher signatures are obtained, the student must have the parent/guardian sign the request indicating agreement with the proposed changes.
    5. The student will return the completed form to the counseling office.
    6. A new schedule will be printed on the computer and given to the student after which the student may begin attending the new classes.
