In your journals
- Put your name and period on the outside cover.
- Use roman numerals to number the first 5 pages. I, II, III, IV, and V. Leave them blank for now we will use them later in the year. Put the page number on the outside bottom of each page.
- At the top of the next page, (page VI) write
“Table of Contents” at the top.
- Keep numbering VI, VII, VIII, IX and X.
- After X start number the pages normally starting with 1 and going to the end of the notebook. You should have about 60 pages.
- This notebook should not be used for anything else.
- Each time we use your journal you should add the entry to your table of contents.
