I was born in Heidelberg, Germany. I first came to the United States when I was 4 years old. My family permanently moved to Tennessee when I was in the 6th grade. I attended Western Kentucky University and Utah State University. I have been working for Granite School District for 16 years and have been an assistant principal at Thomas Jefferson Jr., Bonneville Jr., and Matheson Jr. High. Before becoming an assistant principal I was a Spanish and ESL teacher.
I am married and have 2 boys. Together they have 5 snakes, 2 bearded dragons, 2 fire bellied toads, hermits crabs and an aquarium full of fish. Taking care of them all is a full time job! My family is very involved in sports. It seems like we are always at a game or practice.
My favorite things to do are spending time with my family, traveling, cross stitch and decorating. Sleeping comes in high on the list too!
I love my job. West Lake is a great school and I love coming here everyday. The kids here are some of the best I ever had the pleasure of working with.
