Sweeney ToddSweeney Todd is a barber who dispatches his victims by pulling a lever while they are in his barber chair, which makes them fall backward down a revolving trapdoor into the basement of his shop. Just in case they are alive, he goes to the basement and "polishes them off." Presented at Cottonwood High School, February 3-4, 7 p.m.
HarveyElwood P. Dowd is a middle-aged, amiable (and somewhat eccentric) individual whose best friend is an invisible 6' 3.5" tall rabbit named Harvey. His sister, tries to have Elwood committed to a sanatorium. Presented by Hunter High School, various nights February 2-11. See the calendar.
See How They Run See How They Run is a classic English comedy in three acts by Philip King. Its title is a line from the nursery rhyme Three Blind Mice. It is considered a farce for its tense comic situations and headlong humor, heavily playing on mistaken identity, doors, and vicars. Presented by Hunter High School, February 6, 7:00 p.m.
Dual Language Immersion Dual Immersion is a way to learn academic content while acquiring another language. Students receive math, science, or social studies instruction in Spanish, French, or Chinese. Students learn the concepts for the subject area and develop the ability to read, write, speak, and listen in another language.
