If the current climate of public education was summarized in a weather report, what would it say?
Snowy? Sunny? Hail? Hurricane?
It’s safe to say that the sector seems to be constantly inside of whirlwind of opinions and changes. In times like these, it’s important to take a step back and focus on nurturing positive relationships through moments of cooperation and collaboration.
For Robert Frost Elementary in West Valley City, one of those moments was the school’s PTA Walk-A-Thon. As the students, teachers, and parent volunteers strolled around the field the focus was about building community support for the school.
It quickly became obvious that this community loves their school. Even state representative Craig Hall, whose own children attend Robert Frost, showed up to lend his support for the school.
Great things are taking place all over Granite School District. Be sure to let us know about the amazing stories happening at your school.
