Today’s quiz: Restore this inert computer to full working order in less than two minutes.
Sounds like the worst test of your life, right? Well, it was perhaps the most enjoyable task for a group of tech-savvy students at Hunter High School.
As part of the annual Fastest Geeks competition students gathered in the commons area during both lunches to watch their peers bring seemingly inanimate blocks of plastic to life.
Students who completed the task in the least amount of time were rewarded with various gadgets sure to make any teen happy. As a bonus, every participant took home the computer they assembled, all of which were loaded with the new Windows 8.1 operating system.
