The first few days of the school year were a bit turbulent for students and staff at Neil Armstrong Academy.
With construction workers laboring around the clock inside and outside the building, students scrambled to become familiar with their new digs with the help of teachers and administrators.
Despite the challenges, everyone patiently pressed on and focused on the unique opportunities afforded by the school. That patience certainly paid off as the completed Neil Armstrong Academy is now approaching its fourth month of operation.
In celebration of the newest addition to Granite School District and the West Valley City, school officials hosted a ribbon cutting ceremony and open house for patrons and community members.
