Two special education teachers in Granite School District have achieved National Board status for their diligent efforts to provide effective instruction.
Michele Morgan of Beehive Elementary (left) and Brigitta Petersen of Whitter Elementary both received certification as Exceptional Needs Specialists.
The National Board for Professional Teaching Standards is an independent, nonprofit organization that bestows teaching credentials to teachers to show they have “proven skills to advance student achievement.”
Michele and Brigitta join 22 other teachers in Granite School District who are National Board Certified teachers.
