The work that goes in to programming a small plastic robot to perform a simple task can appear tedious at first. But when that small machine grabs a tiny ring or pushes a toy vehicle into a designated stall, the excitement is unmistakable.

FIRST Lego League is an opportunity for students to get engaged in science and technology by programming autonomous Lego robots to solve problems on a thematic playing surface.

As a culmination of their hard work since the start of the school year, elementary school teams from all across the district came together to show off their newfound programming skills.
