The science fair is a not only a staple of grade school education, it’s a childhood milestone full of excitement, curiosity and discovery.
For students at Gearld Wright Elementary, it also meant a little bit of added pressure. After all, not everyone has his or her science project judged by the city mayor.
Fortunately, West Valley City Mayor Ron Bigelow, along with employees from Chik-fil-A and Cyprus High AVID students, seemed just as interested as the young students with each of the projects. The rationales alone provided a unique glimpse of individual student interests.
