I am curious about how this will impact Cottonwood High School and the additional networks and boundaries to the east?

The Student Population Study list contains proposed boundary realignments to be studied by the Planning & Boundaries department. The board approved this list, which included two boundary change proposals, during board meeting. The Planning & Boundaries department will now conduct studies to determine the impacts of the proposed boundary changes and report their findings to the board later this year. The board will then approve or deny the changes based on the results of the study. So, in a round about way of answering your question, that information is not yet known.

I don’t think that it’s a good idea to move 9th graders from hunter and kennedy jr high cause if they did doesn’t that also mean that you’ll have to tear down the school and rebuild hunter high just like you did with grainger high so I’m against the idea of taken 9th graders from the jr. highs and putting them with the 10th-12th graders

      Denton,
Be sure to express your thoughts on the online survey. School community councils at Hunter Jr., Kennedy Jr., and Hunter High will decide whether to take the recommendation to the board of education based on feedback from the community through the survey.
