The Granite Association of School Administrators recognized four GSD administers with special awards for their outstanding service.

The Administrators of the Year awards are given out each year to those who have made a positive impact on the district and, most importantly, its students. Each recipient was nominated by his or her co-workers.

Assistant Principal of the Year
Shauna States, Valley Junior High School

Elementary Principal of the Year
Natalie Hansen, Hunter and Monroe elementary schools

Secondary Principal of the Year
Terri Van Winkle, Brockbank Junior High School

District Administrator of the Year
David Gourley, Assistant Superintendent of Support Services
