2013 saw the opening of several new school buildings in Granite School District, two of which have received special recognition for providing exceptional education climates.
The Granger High School rebuild received the 2013 Award of Excellence in the K-12 Education (UC&D Large) division from Associated General Contractors of Utah.
Neil Armstrong Academy, Granite’s latest addition, received an Award of Merit from the Utah Chapter of the Council of Educational Facility Planners International. The Apex Awards in Innovative Educational Environments are presented to new or renovated schools that “foster exceptional student engagement.”
