Three Granite District high school students received accolades from the National Center for Women & Information Utah Affiliate for their leadership and proficiency in computing.
Recipients of the 2014 Awards for Aspiration were selected for their aptitude and interest in IT and computing, solid leadership ability, good academic history, and plans for post-secondary education.
Kelsey Henrichsen of Kearns High School was one of ten Utah Affiliate winners, and received an engraved award and will be recommended for scholarships at state universities and colleges.
Carmina Gray of Olympus High School and Kami Devenish of Granger High School were both named Utah Affiliate runners-up.
