Red Cross reps took a trip to Pleasant Green Elementary last week to teach students about the importance of blood donations for those who are sick or injured.
After hearing messages from Billy Blood Drop, students were encouraged to ask adults in their family to come to the school during a blood drive.
“Our goal was 25 units of blood, and our wonderful community donated 34 pints,” said Pleasant Green principal Sharon Prescott. “We appreciate those generous patrons who supported this project.”
