Granite School District will be launching an entirely new website in preparation for the 2014-2015 school year. This new site is a dramatic change from our previous Web page, and is designed to be more intuitive for our patrons, students and employees.
The new site will launch at 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, August 13, 2014, though it may take up to a few hours before you notice the change.
With the new website, several features and pages have been updated and modified. Below are some changes you need to be aware of:
Access points to the Outlook Web Application and the Employee Portal Login have been moved to the Intranet.
To access the Intranet, scroll to the bottom of the Web page and click “Intranet.”
Login using your Granite School District username and password. If you are accessing the Intranet from outside the district, you must use your full email address (name@graniteschools.org) to log in.
Once you arrive at the Intranet main page, use the “Quick Links” tab to navigate to Outlook Web Access, Employee Portal Login, People Search, and more. The new site features a search function that allows you to browse pages and posts throughout the website. The search bar on the main page is located beneath the quick links section.
A search bar is also located on every page on the right column.
Documents that are not intended for public viewing have been uploaded to the district’s Intranet by each department. Please contact department heads for questions about specific department content on the new website.
The old Granite School District website will be accessible internally on the GSD network for a few months following the launch at www3.graniteschools.org.
Please be aware that any bookmarks you may have on the old website will become obsolete once the new site is launched.
Contact Chris Mower if you have any issues or questions about the NEW website.
