As parents and students entered Stansbury Elementary for Back-to-School Night last week, they noticed more gadgets, rooms, and overall space than what they’ve previously known at the school.
A new building addition and renovation has marked a new milestone in Stansbury’s 50-year history. Last year, the school broke ground on the new building portion that added 12 new classrooms, a larger cafeteria and library, and two large instruction rooms to better serve its 1,000+ students.
During a small ceremony in the school’s new courtyard, student leaders took hold of a giant pair of scissors and formally cut the ribbon to usher in a new era for Stansbury.
