Granite Technical Institute health sciences teacher Christine Curry recently received an email from a former student who touted her own success as a direct result of Christine’s instruction.
Here’s how it read:
“I don’t know if you remember me, but I took CNA courses from you last year. I just wanted to let you know how grateful I am for the things you taught me in class.”
“I am currently down at [Dixie State University] as a full time student, and also a CNA at a home and hospice. The things you taught me not only changed my life in the work aspect, but also in my schooling. Going into my first CNA job I was scared, but after working there a few weeks, I realized that I was more prepared then ANY of the kids down there. I knew what to do, and what was going on. The RN’s and the supervisors were amazed at the knowledge that I had already gained from taking your class.”
“So, I just wanted to say thank you. You have changed my life in more ways then I could ever write in a simple email.”
“Either show your class this email, or tell them about it. Tell them that everything you say is truly pure gold. They wont believe how often I sing the little songs you teach us. It really is a quick and easy way to remember everything.”
“Keep up on the good fight! And thank you, again!”
