Kids may be excited to dress up as their favorite fictional superheroes this month, but it’s clear that each of them recognize who the ‘real’ heroes are in their community.
As part of Eastwood Elementary School’s Red Ribbon Week, students dressed in attire that represented the heroes in their own lives. Many chose to wear medical scrubs, lab coats, fireman hats, and police caps.
In addition, officers from Unified Police Department showed up to talk about their work and the equipment they use.
We salute the heroes in the Granite community for contributing the education and well being of all our students.
