Food Services staff members at West Lake Junior High received an unexpected gift last week from some students who wanted to share their appreciation.

Keyboarding students took time to key letters of gratitude for the hard work and devotion of the cafeteria staff in preparing and serving meals to more than 800 students every day.

The students, accompanied by West Lake principal Ike Spencer, hand-delivered the letters and flower bouquets to the cafeteria workers.
