Multiple schools celebrating major milestones this school year

Last month Stansbury Elementary celebrated fifty years of education in the West Valley community with the dedication of their new building addition and renovation.

Over at Bonneville Junior High, students were welcomed to the new school year with a hot dog lunch commemorating the school’s fifty-year anniversary.

Stansbury and Bonneville are just two of many schools who have celebrated or will celebrate major milestones this year or next.

Here’s the list:

Pleasant Green Elementary – 30 years (1985)
South Kearns Elementary – 60 years (1955)
Valley Crest Elementary – 30 years (1985)
Westbrook Elementary – 30 years (1985)
Woodrow Wilson Elementary – 90 years (1925)
William Penn Elementary – 90 years (1924)
Howard Driggs Elementary – 50 years (1964)
Granger Elementary – 60 years (1955)
Lake Ridge Elementary – 50 years (1964)
West Kearns Elementary – 60 years (1954)
Upland Terrace Elementary – 50 years (1965)
Vista Elementary – 50 years (1965)
Farnsworth Elementary – 50 years (1965)
Mill Creek Elementary – 60 years (1955)
James Moss Elementary – 50 years (1965)
Jim Bridger Elementary – 30 years (1985)
