More than 160 teachers in Salt Lake City, including several in Granite School District, recently received funds to fulfill desired classroom projects thanks to a sizeable donation from AT&T.
the DonorsChoose program allows teachers across the nation to create project requests on the nonprofit’s website and encourages individuals and organizations to donate to those projects they feel are the most inspiring.
With the help of AT&T Aspire, a myriad of projects submitted by Granite School District teachers on the website were funded in full. The total amount given to Salt Lake City schools was $220,760.
