Administrative Reports

Mike Fraser, Assistant Superintendent of School Leadership and Improvement Services, and several junior high school principals presented a report on the 5 x 5 junior high block schedule to the board.

Linda Mariotti, Assistant Superintendent of Student Learning & Support, presented an interim report on the District 5-Year Plan to the board.

Board Meeting

The board recognized board member Gayleen Gandy for her years of service as board president.

The board recognized Feb. 2-6, 2015, as National School Counseling Week.

  • Computers for Educational Technology Department, En Pointe, $1,891,710.00, Educational Technology fund and school budgets

  • Architectural services for ADA upgrades and district-wide survey of restrooms, Design West Architects, $320,000.00, Capital Outlay fund

Information Items

Brent Severe, Director of Granite Education Foundation, gave a report on the Foundation’s chartable activities during the 2014 holiday season.

Representatives from the Mountain View Corridor Air Working Group presented technical findings and recommendations regarding the future Mountain View Transportation Corridor to the board.

Action Items

The board approved the 2016-2017 school calendar as presented by Gail Howe, Director of Elementary Schools.

The board approved the Population Analysis Study List as presented by Steve Hogan, Director of Planning & Boundaries.
