The Utah Association of Office Professionals has named Karen Bowden, principal’s secretary at West Lake Jr. High, the 2015 Office Professional of the Year.

“Not only is Karen a consummate professional in every sense of the word, but her character is above reproach,” said West Lake principal Ike Spencer. “Karen possesses an arsenal of skills conducive to running the front office efficiently, fostering positive relationships with our community and being a mentor for others.”

“Karen has the rare combination of being a natural coupled with the formative knowledge that allows me to be able to focus more of my time assuring that our students are getting the education they deserve,” he said.

Karen will be honored during the Associations’ annual conference next month. Congratulations!
