Skyline High School senior Samuel I. Adams has been named the 2015 General Sterling Scholar winner for his exceptional grasp of world dialects.
Samuel’s love of languages, including German and American Sign Language, led to him to be named winner in the World Languages category, and subsequently the overall Sterling Scholar winner. His grand prize of $5,000 in scholarship money will assist in his pursuit to master biomedical engineering and additional languages in college.
Along with Samuel’s big win, multiple Granite School District students were named Sterling Scholar runners-up in their respective categories:
