Employees at USANA Health Sciences hit the pavement with junior high students in the annual “USANA Crusades for Kennedy Jr. High” 5K fundraiser.
Kennedy Jr. High sent more than 250 students to participate alongside nearly 100 USANA employees. All proceeds raised benefitted the 1,000 students of Kennedy Jr. High.
“Our employees and executives look forward to running this friendly and always fun 5k each year along with the faculty and students of Kennedy Jr. High,” said Michael King, Executive Director of Human Resources at USANA.
USANA has held a long-standing partnership with neighboring Kennedy Jr. High School, working year-round to provide financial support and one-on-one employee/student time to school programs. Since January 1, 2014, USANA has raised close to $15,000 for the school’s sizeable student body.
