This week’s Customer Service Star goes to a principal’s secretary who doubles as a therapist for students, parents and colleagues.
“Lisa Turner has been at Morningside Elementary for 13 years. She knows the name of nearly every student and what class they are in and who their parents are.”
“I was an aide in the office when the secretary at the time took a medical leave. When she didn’t return, the principal at that time asked if I wanted the job. Lisa has been a lifesaver for me; showing me how to do things that I hadn’t been fully trained to do.”
“She usually has a big smile on her face, even when she may be feeling horrible. She is a great co-worker and friend who has supported me through many trials in past couple years.”
