Kaylee Winters’ writing and oratory skills have earned her $500 in addition to inspiring others to serve in their community.

Kaylee is the winner of Granger’s Speech Contest, which had students write and deliver speeches based on the theme “Service Above Self.” No notes or visual aids were allowed, so participants had to rely solely on rhetoric.

Valley West Rotary Club awarded Kaylee with a $500 check and an invitation to the Rotary Youth Leadership Activity event in the fall. Here’s a clip from Kaylee’s speech:
