Ben Horsley, Director of Communications, presented an initial report of the Annual Student Population Study List to the board. The board approved continued study of the Matheson Jr. High boundary, which is tied to Cyprus High ninth grade reconfiguration, and the 4800 West boundary. The board voted to remove the Arcadia Elementary feeder pattern study from the list.

Budget Hearing
Mitch Robison, Director of Budget Development, presented the proposed FY 2015-16 budget to the board. The budget has been available on the District’s website since June 1 to provide the public an opportunity to view and comment on the document.
After presenting the proposed budget, the board opened the meeting to public comment. There were no comments. The board approved the revised 2014-15 budget as detailed in the budget book. The board approved the tentative 2015-16 budget and set the tax rate equal to 0.007013, and scheduled a Truth in Taxation hearing for Tuesday, August 4, 2015 at 6 p.m. at the Granite Education Center (2500 S. State Street).
