Unified Police Department’s Taylorsville Precinct recently honored Jordan Cox and Crosby Bringhurst for their honesty and integrity.
Last week while leaving school, the two Taylorsville High students stumbled on a wallet filled with $100 and $50 bills. As it turned out, the wallet belonged to a man who was carrying the cash to pay his family’s rent.

I talk to my Adult Roles about VALUES and ask students if they would return a $10, $20, $1,000, etc. if they found it in a wallet. I have had some students who would return a very small amount but one year, I couldn’t get one person to return the money and even went to 1,000,000. I’m
very proud that these students returned the money. I will use them as an example for this lesson in the future. Thank you for being an example to others.

What a well educated kid, way to go to him, his parents, community and teachers for shaping this young man to do the right thing!
