“This is my forty-first year in education. You don’t do it forever unless you care about kids.”
Kim Heppler understands how important it is for students to be at school. As the attendance tracker/outreach worker at Granite Park Jr. High, she often puts on a ‘tough’ façade in order to get the best results for students.
Guy Marlowe says
Ms. Heppler is a one of a kind teacher who has truly devoted her whole life towards helping others. She really cares about all our students. She has been a great role model to students and facility alike.
It is wonderful that she got recognized for all her hard work. She is a little embarrassed of this deserved recognition. She likes to be in the shadows and give others.
Our attendance is now the best in the state, This is because of the hard work and effort she puts into straighten our students goals of one of life’s lesions of going to school to learn and being on time. A value we all should never take for granted.
