Photos: These kindergarteners learned what’s in store for them in high school

January 2016Granite Schools

From one end of the K-12 spectrum to the other –

Kindergarten students from all across the Kearns network were taken on a tour of Kearns High School today. Led by their older peers from the high school, the young students learned about the wide array of educational and extracurricular options they’ll experience when they reach high school.

My granddaughter is in kindergarten at Beehive elementary and her class did not go on the field trip. I am wondering why not? Her sister was in kindergarten last year and went to the high school. She loved it and still has her t shirt. I and some other parents noticed the other kindergarten class was gone. We asked the aide on duty and she told us they were at the High School. Why didn’t my granddaughters class get to go?
