The threat of cancellation loomed large for Truman Elementary staff when it became apparent there were not enough volunteers for a favorite field trip.
Without the necessary volunteer help, the fifth grade trip to Junior Achievement BizTown seemed to be a loss this year. With nowhere else to turn, special education teacher Cheri Frost contacted UPS to see if they could provide some help.
“After hearing our needs, the Salt Lake City UPS call center drafted a proposal to provide 11 volunteers for our day,” Frost said. “UPS really delivered; we couldn’t have done this without them!”
Kudos to UPS for their timely response to a teacher’s call for help. We sincerely appreciate the consistent support our students receive from multiple business partners.
