This year’s PTA awardees may come from different backgrounds, but they all have one purpose in mind: to support students in Granite School District.
Two GSD educators – Brent Nelson of West Kearns Elementary and Gene Bechtold of Churchill Jr. High – received state PTA awards in addition to their region recognition.
Region 5 PTA leadership also recognized the increase in male volunteer engagement and the positive impact it’s having on students and volunteers throughout the district.
