Students who will be in seventh grade for the 2016-17 school year have an opportunity to enhance their music skills this summer at the Granite Junior Youth Symphony Preparatory Academy.
This one-month program is taught by highly-qualified music teachers, and will help students learn to play a musical instrument or improve their existing instrumental skills. This is a great tool for students to get a head start on the school year and make some new friends in the process.
- June 1 – 30, 2016. Monday through Friday from 8:30 to 11 a.m. at Taylorsville High School (5225 S. Redwood Road)
- $60 tuition fee – includes bus transportation to and from selected junior high schools and a daily lunch.
- Partial scholarships are available through Granite Education Foundation.
