Cottonwood High teacher Dennis Hummer is one of a handful of educators statewide to receive the Huntsman Award for Excellence in Education. This award is given to a handful of educators statewide who continually seek ways to improve instruction and help students succeed.
During a surprise visit by Karen Huntsman to announce his award, Mr. Hummer’s colleagues, family, current and former students acknowledged the powerful impact he’s had on students. Here are just a few comments form his admirers:
