The American Scholastic Press Association (ASPA) has given a first place award to Taylorsville High’s The Warrior Ledger, the newspaper’s third national top honor in as many years.
The ASPA evaluates student publications on an annual basis, reviewing overall creativity, journalistic knowledge, style, and skill. The Warrior Ledger is one of only two high school publications in Utah to receive a first place distinction.
“I’m really proud of the great work all of my students have contributed to this,” said Taylorsville journalism teacher Stephanie Floch.
