Our thanks to everyone who submitted nominations for the Customer Service Star. Here are two final recognitions for the school year:
“Jenny Jackson is a secretary at Eisenhower Jr. High School. I work frequently with her because I am the PTSA treasurer. Jenny is always helpful and seems to have the answer to all my questions. She is also the person to take care of the TeleParent phone calls when we need to get information out. Jenny is friendly and welcoming and represents the front office very well.”
“Karen Jones is the bus driver for Bonneville Jr. High’s special education class. She was on a field trip with another school and knew she would be late picking up our students. One student, in particular, struggles when the daily routine is different than expected. Karen called transportation and asked that BJH be notified that her bus would be late, so that the SPED student could be told in enough advance notice that it would not be a surprise. Tom Given called BJH on behalf of the driver and the teacher was notified hours before the end of the day. Karen really went the extra mile to make sure that one student’s day went well.”
