Every year the U.S. Department of Justice invites fifth-graders across the country to create artwork on the theme “Bringing Our Missing Children Home” as part of National Missing Children’s Day.
Sierra Carr of Elk Run Elementary submitted a poster design incorporating her favorite design elements and the profound caption, “No matter where you are, we will find you.”
Sierra’s work caught the attention of judges, and her poster excelled in regional legs of the competition to be named the 2016 Utah winner. In recognition of her work, Sierra received her own press conference at the Capitol with Utah Attorney General Sean Reyes.
Congratulations, Sierra!
