Every year thousands of students in Utah pledge to be drug free during Red Ribbon Week. At West Kearns Elementary, this season’s slogan invites kids to wear that pledge beneath their noses.

“We ‘Mustache’ you do not do drugs” was the theme for one of the Red Ribbon days at West Kearns. As part of the day’s festivities, officers from Unified Police Department painted mustaches on students’ faces during the lunch recess hour.
