Information/Action Item

Doug Larson, Director of Policy & Legal Services, led a follow-up discussion on girls’ wrestling in Granite School District. The board made a motion to rescind an administrative memorandum that prohibited girls from wrestling in the district. Girls will now be allowed to participate in the sport.

Action Item

The board approved three study items (South Salt Lake Area Study, NorthWest Area Study, Olympus/Cottonwood Network Study) and pulled one study item (Driggs Elementary Study) from the Population Analysis Committee Study List as presented by Steve Hogan, Director of Planning & Boundaries.
