The 2017 SkillsUSA competition was loaded with impressive displays of ingenuity and knowledge.

The annual contest allows students who are pursuing CTE courses to go head-to-head with peers from other high schools. This year’s winners include:

Automotive Maintenance & Light Repair
1st Place – Hunter Morrill & Teddy Proctor, Hunter High School
2nd Place – Lynden Otteson & Kason Siddoway, Taylorsville High School
3rd Place – Rodney Thompson & Nathan Swain, Kearns High School

Individual Medals
1st Place – Lynden Otteson, Taylorsville High School
2nd Place (Tie) – Hunter Morrill, Hunter High School; Teddy Proctor, Hunter High School
3rd Place – Jayden Oswald, Cyprus High School
