The latest report of Utah graduation rates shows a continuing upward trend of Granite School District graduation percentage points.
Over the past several years, Granite’s graduation rate has steadily increased from 63 percent in 2009 to 75 percent in 2017. Economically disadvantaged students, English language learners, and students with disabilities have all made gains in their graduation rates over the past five years.
The increase can be a attributed to a number of education advancements in Granite and the state, but it could not be accomplished without the daily efforts of school and district staff members to prepare students for life beyond graduation.
This is certainly not the ceiling, and we anticipate greater gains in the coming years.
