If you’re not a regular attendee of school plays and musicals, you may have some preconceived notions of what to expect when the curtain goes up. But as any regular theatre-goer can attest, your expectations will be exceeded to the highest degree (or note).
The compelling stories of student actors and their instructors has been on the minds of producers at KUER’s RadioWest program for quite some time. Producer Elaine Clark explained:
“We’ve wanted to do a film about a high school play for a long time. Mostly because theatre kids are just the best. And watching them work so hard to learn their lines and control their expectations and dreams, is inspiring and really dramatic.”
The result: ‘Greek Gods in K-Town’
