Two automotive teams from Hunter High School recently traveled to Las Vegas to compete at the national Hot Rodders of Tomorrow Engine Challenge as part of the national Speciality Equipment Market Association (SEMA) show.
One of the teams made it to the top 4, and are invited to compete at the next round of the competition for a shot at earning the title of fastest engine building team in the country.
All of the students earned scholarship money to a handful of automotive trade schools. It’s another amazing accomplishment that serves as a follow up to Hunter High being named the 2017 School of the Year by Tomorrow’s Technician magazine.
