Administration Reports
State representative Mike Winder presented information on the Millcreek Township Community Redevelopment Area (CRA) Project.

Linda Mariotti, Assistant Superintendent of Student Learning & Support, presented a report on Food Pantries in the district.

Recognitions
The board recognized Discover for contributing more than $100,000 since the beginning of the academic school year to help meet the needs of students and educators

The board recognized Tuesday, November 20, 2018, as Educational Support Professionals Day.

The board recognized Gary Bradford (Carpenters Shop), Todd Farnsworth (Olympus High School), and Brad Robinson (Neil Armstrong Academy) as recipients of the annual GESPA Outstanding Classified Employee Award.

Information Items
Kieth Bradshaw, Director of Risk & Property Management, presented the 2018 Student Enrollment Report.

Tina West, Director of Elementary Schools, and Garett Muse, Director of High Schools, presented results from the recent General Calendar Survey. The input from the survey assisted the district’s Calendar Committee in developing options for the 2020-2021 School Year Calendar. Parents, students and employees will have an opportunity to provide their feedback on calendar options before final approval by the board of education.

First Readings
The board approved a first reading of the 2019-2020 Elementary & Secondary Fee Schedules as presented by Garett Muse, Director of High Schools. All fees listed are the maximum allowable amount charged per pupil for each activity.

The board approved a first reading of recommended boundary adjustments from the Population Analysis Committee as presented by Steve Hogan, Director of Planning & Boundaries. This includes the Holladay ‘Hawaiian Streets’ study and the Twin Peaks/Spring Lane feeder pattern study.

The board approved a first reading of amendments to Article X.C.3. Educator and Student Communications & Social Media as presented by Doug Larson, Director of Policy & Legal Services.

The board approved a first reading of amendments to Article II.E. Procedures for Making, Amending and Repealing District Policies as presented by Doug Larson, Director of Policy & Legal Services.

Action Item
The board approved a second reading of amendments to Article X.A.4. Senior High Graduation Standards & Requirements.
