Athena Starr of Vista Elementary and Beatrice Powell from Wasatch Junior High each won a $1,000 college scholarship for their artistic vision in the my529 and StepUp to Higher Education’s Make Your Mark bookmark contest.

Athena’s bookmark celebrated her interests in music, art, and books, with a brightly colored music note proclaiming “Rock-n-Read.”
