In situations where a National Emergency is declared, the Emergency Food Service, sponsored by the Summer Feeding Program, is made available to all children. Children can enjoy breakfast and lunches at no charge through the programs mentioned above. This is a federally funded nutrition program open to all kids ages 1-18 years. No applications are necessary to participate. All children and teens are welcome.
Meal service will run Monday, March 16, 2020 and will continue through May 1, 2020. The continuation of emergency feeding after May 1, 2020 will be reevaluated based on the State Board of Education’s guidance to continue the dismissal of K-12 schools.
The Program makes sure all children can eat healthy food during a National Emergency and school is dismissed. Due to new Public Health Order related to the COVID-19, school meals will be delivered at school entrances closest to parking lots as a curb-side/take out as required by the Health Department instead of in the cafeteria. Adult meals will no longer be available for purchase due to the restrictions outlined in the order.
Siblings of students enrolled at different schools can go to the same school to receive meals.
Children must be present to receive meals, if circumstances do not allow for children to be present, please contact your principal directly.
Sites and serving times are subject to change. Meals can be picked up at the following locations and times below:
- Serving Time: 11:30 AM – 1:00 PM
- Locations: All open locations. View the list of sites no longer serving meals as of Tuesday, March 31.

Our main goal is ensure any students who show up at any school are fed during this dismissal. We will continue to update you with any changes to meal distribution.
