Volunteer for Good is an initiative by the Lieutenant Governor of the State of Utah. She is working with Granite School District to ensure every high school student has access to service each school year and students log their service hours in our Volunteer for Good platform, and are recognized for their service.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Use the link below for your high school to log your service hours, find opportunities and get involved in your local community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Each month you can keep track of (log your time) your service in and outside of school. Each month\/quarter of school has an independent service opportunity that you can sign up for. This is where you will add your service hours each month\/quarter. Please add an explanation to the “notes” part of the service so we can keep track of interests and experiences. On the link below you can also find service opportunities within Granite School District, your school, community. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Recognition:<\/strong> Certificates & Graduation Cords<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

  • Every student who logs 25 hours in one school year will earn a certificate.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Class of 2030<\/strong> students need 100 hours over the course of their high school career to earn the service cord for Volunteer for Good.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Class of 2029<\/strong> students need 100 hours over the course of their high school career to earn the service cord for Volunteer for Good. <\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Class of 2028<\/strong> need 90 hours for a service cord over the course of their high school career to earn the service cord for Volunteer for Good. <\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Class of 2027 <\/strong>need 65 hours for a service cord over the course of their high school career to earn the service cord for Volunteer for Good. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n
